If Ward defeats Kessler, what does it say about Calzaghe?

In most peoples eyes the Kessler fight is his most legit win. Kessler was undefeated, defeated a decent amount of top super middleweight, and what most would consider in his prime. Now if Ward defeats Kessler what does it say about Joes best win? Whats it say about Kessler or American boxing even? If the Europeans struggle it will bring up the question if these fighters truly are babied and sheltered in their home country and when they step up it doesn't work out.

Not a lot. Might hurt his resume a little as IMO Kess was Joe's best win.

Its irrelevant though, Kess isn't losing to Ward, or anyone in the Super 6.

I'd still think Calzaghe beats everyone in the tournament.

Only biased pathetic people discredit wins long after someone fought them.

It does not change that much, I do not think overly highly of Joe in the first place so really no reason to reassess, I respect Joe and think he is a first ballot HoF guy probably the best 168 pounder although that is kind of a soft division all time as it is pretty recent but that is still impressive.

It would suck for Joe fans around here though as that would get thrown in their faces a lot.

Not much. Ward is a good fighter and has a style which can cause Kessler trouble. Styles make fights not previous opponents.
