I hate boxing fans. Some of, if not THE worst sports fans. Its funny. The one division for Inoue best fights was the one with the most competition at the time. It just wouldve made for some really interesting fights. You had chocolatito, sor rungvisai, estrada all running superfly at the time. Chocolatito wouldve been the biggest win on his resume along with Donaire, with estrada right behind that. Whether he ducked or they ducked, its all trash. No fights!! Win lose or draw I wouldve like to see these guys face each other. I know yall thinking he wouldve cleaned them up easily but FOH with that. Get in the fuggin ring and prove it. Yall need to stop blowing these guys up so much when most fighters arent even fighting the best. All of the so called “a” class fighters stay mopping up the “b, c and d” class competition. ALL OF THEM. Then wanna say they are the best. But it is boxing. My expectations are clearly too high for the sport and its fans. Its a damn let down around every corner. Whatever, American football season cant come fast enough.

Inoue has a much better track record than Bam or anyone in the world right now. 22 world title fight wins in a row, with 20 KOs. Bam is not even remotely close. Dont be an ignorant fool.

Spouting off stats like world title fights is useless. Who the fugg did you fight. These guys arent fighting against the best comp. Go look at his resume and i dare you to give the one legacy fighter that he faced, besides Nonito. He couldve fought at least two more in estrada and chocolatito, but no. And i dont care why the fights dont happen, they dont.
Not fighting the best? Donaire & Narvaez are future hof. fulton was the #1 unified bw when inoue crushed him.
Chocolatito ducked Inoue. I’m not even gonna waste my time explaining that. Go look it up.
Crawford, Canelo and all the top boxing industry rank Inoue in the top 2 P4P. Mike Tyson & Pacquiao think he’s the best fighter on the planet.
Who are you? And does anyone care. Stop looking at boxingrec then acting like you know anything about boxing.M111 likes this.

No, Estrada is much better than Donaire was when Inoue fought him.
Just because Donaire and Narvaez were Inoue’s wins before Fulton doesn’t mean that they weren’t old and past it.
I’ve generally found people belittling or trying denigrate Inoui’s record or performances are US fans either p1ssed because he battered Fulton or have the sad old agenda of ‘if he’s not from the US he can’t be any good’. Either way your views seldom stand up to any scrutiny whichever way you try and spin them.

Being accomplished is one thing. Being on the downside of their careers is quite another.
I’ve generally found that people overhyping Inoue’s wins are sensitive to the criticism that his resume isn’t exactly full of prime (or close to prime) elites. It’s not really his fault since it’s true that he has faced the top guys available in his weight class, but the quality and depth in those divisions has mostly been inferior to other weight classes. It is what it is.
He could have avoided this by facing Chocolatito or Estrada or Rungvisai on his way up but he somehow found a way to not fight a single one of them.
Your view has absolutely no education behind it. You’re just a common westerner who just started to notice lighter weights because of Inoue, and make judgements based on boxingrec.
Higher weights are hyped by American media. Americans are hyped by American media. Chocolatito ducked Inoye like the plague. It’s common knowledge for real boxing fans. But since you aren’t one, you wouldn’t know.

Someone criticizes Naoya Inoue so they must not know about lighter weights.
Fighters like Choco and Estrada and prime Donaire and Michael Carbajal and Chiquita Gonzalez and Finito Lopez had classic fight performances that are on video for all to see, before Inoue ever came around. Don’t be a casual.
Tyson, Pacquiao, Tank, Robert Garcia, Canelo, etc. etc. are in awe of this guys skills and accomplishments. In fact Bradley and Atlas put him in the same HOF category as Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard.
You’re nothin but a troll.

You’re upset when people point out how Inoue completely skipped over Choco, Estrada, Rungvisai, and even Cuadras? Blame him not me.
Google Cuadras if you have to. You sound just like all those Pacquiao fans who only started following boxing when Pacquiao came around.
Google it, since that’s the only thing you know how to do.

He somehow found a way to not fight ALL of them.
I thought you knew it already, because you “know a lot about the lightweight scene”.
During that time, Rungvisai was a no name. Estrada and Cuadras both lost to Choco. Inoue stated over and over that he wanted to fight the best, in Choco. Choco declined. Not once but twice. He opted to fight a no name in Rungvisai as a tune up. Inoue stated he had trouble making superfly, and fighting Choco would be his last wish before he moved up. Inoue even watched it ringside.
But Choco ended up losing.
That already proves you dont follow the LW scene. That was all over the news. Nice try, Casual.Last edited by JOITATS; 05-17-2024, 06:25 PM.

Donaire had lost too, but Inoue had no problem getting in the ring with him. How convenient.
Michael Carbajal was in the news this week for having a street named after him. Google it and learn some history, America cared about the lighter weights before Inoue was even born.
Because that was the super series tournament you moron.
Give it a rest buddy.M111 likes this.
