          No. If I have the belt and I know you're very good, avoid you for years, then someone else beats me, avoids you for years, etc etc. How seriously do you take that lineal crown? It's happened for ages.

            Yeah this list really means little to nothing. Pavlik just keeps adding up the number of months he's been the lineal middleweight champ. Doesn't really mean anything. He's still not fighting anyone, or even fighting often. According to the list I guess Cory Spinks is about as great as Mayweather. Less months as champ but more defenses. Cory Spink ATG welterweight.

                    Leonard still wins by a lot.

                    Anyway, the list is pointless. When you think of all the great welters in recent years (Margarito, Quartey, TRINIDAD, etc.) and then see this list you just have to snicker.
