Quite clearly the strategy his team had has failed miserably. Do worry about his mental health.

Anyway not sure the two fights in the US did him any favours but a short ban say 3 months is adequate now with greater testing for the rest of his career.

Correct. His refusal to engage with the process and attempts to talk around it have caused this issue for him. I have no sympathy for Benn (or Hearn) who has refused to be accountable, probably owing to his psychology as a privileged kid who entered the sport as a star.

I couldn’t care less about dude but for whatever it’s worth I think he’s done his time. Let him fight and catch his beatdown from Bud, Spence, Boots or even Tank.

I just don’t feel like he’s that important to serve such a long sentence. Either ban him for life or let the man fight already. Hell, put him on a do or die probation program where if he ever pops dirty again he’s banned for life.

They should be applauded... Benn went on about this "dossier" of scientific evidence they had, then got his expensive legal team to get him cleared on a technicality based on jurisdiction!

Everyone moans there's never any real consequences for PED cheats, more organisations should behave like the BBBoC imo.

Great post except Bbbc is not a particularly effective organisation. If they were they'd be looking at taking action against Hearn & Matchroon too?
