Good handspeed but im not sure about his foot speed and defence.

I think he's got good foot speed, but he can be really sloppy at times.

It's his hands and reflexes that are his best attributes.

Just cos Ive seen guys get on top of him way too easily. Hanshaw had him pinned against the ropes and dropped him in the very first round. I dunno if hes gonna be able to stay away from Carl all night.

its mental with Matrix he has serious lapses in concentration

in one instant he is looking like a world beater against Oganov then he lets him back in

he has the tools to beat Froch in convincing manner its just if he has the mentality to go along with it that concerns me

I've been saying that's a bad habit of his--backing up in straight lines into a corner. He needs to step to Froch's left after every punch, turning him and keep him off balance and reaching with his right hand. If he does this, he'll make his life easier. He's probably got good enough reflexes to avoid Froch's punches in the center. He'll need to stay there too because I'm willing to bet it'll be a small ring.

Plus, I think a lot of times Dirrell, like against Hanshaw, almost needs a wake up call to start fighting. The thing is, he can't afford to fight like that this time around.

I agree with you, Eaner. Dirrell is by far the more skillful fighter than Froch. It's his stamina and heart down the stretch that I'm questioning. Froch is no pushover and will be a tough test for Andre.

Fast hands and uderrated power. Terrible footwork,suspect chin and questionable stamina.
He will give Froch a few problems if he doesnt freeze,but this fight wont see the end of the 9th round and it wont be Dirrell having his hand raised.

I wouldn't say terrible footwork, but when he loses focus it gets sloppy and he's off balance.
