      See what I mean?

I just don't see how that is productive or advances the conversation. Through a couple thousand posts, I haven't found it necesary to call people names or to taunt and goad. Just my approach.

When you said "other legit welterweights", were you referring to Cotto, Shane and Clottey?

If you were, then Shane belongs in the topic.

If you were not, then my bad fo going off-topic.

Oscar's last few fights are Mayweather, Pac and Forbes. Not exactly behemoths.

Hopkins' last few fiights are Ornelas, Calzaghe, Pavlik and Wright. @ guys moving up a division, two guys moving up TWO divisions.

Quite frankly, i am much more interested in seeing big events, than I am in seeing "competitive" fights. How did JuanMa-Mtagwa benefit the sport? That was FOTY-candidate, right? It should be all over ESPN, right?

..and my business benefits by the big events.
I couldnt give a monkey's about your business. I was always led to believe that the idea was to stay at the pinnacle of the sport when you got there. If you actually fight live opponents the money will take care of itself. Your status gets raised and you transcend the sport.

Ali,Leonard,Hagler,Hearns etc. did it. FMJ hasnt. It might hurt to hear this, but most regular people in england dont know who the fuqq FMJ is.

You're just a righteous prick who thinks the way he converses is how everybody should talk. We are all different and we all communicate differently. So what if you had a couple of thousand posts, who cares. It's the points and arguments that you make that make a conversation effective or worth listening to. It's not how you deliver your speech but what is in it. Bob Marley, William Shakespeare and Tupac Shakur may all communicate differently but their most important contributions in history is not in the manner they communicated but what was in the message. You may speak proper and all righteous, but your content have no substance. Most of the times, your content is based on defending Floyd Mayweather, regardless if he is right or wrong.

Besides, you know what you are, so I don't need to tell you. I didn't call you a nuthugger. I said, "as long as the nuthuggers". But if I hit a nerve, that's your problem.

You asked me a question, and I answered it as thoroughly as I could to explain my perspective. And then you tell me that you "couldn't give a monkey's...". That is rude, and didn't need to be said. Civility, please.

What you are describing is a outdated paradigm. Look at all of the top guys in this era. This era. An era of lengthy promotion tours and infrequent fights. An era where the public buys NAMES, not fights.

When you exclude the heavyweights, many of the big fights in this era essentially mismatches. Right?

                    Oscar-mayorga.
                    Hopkins-Oscar.
                    floyd-hatton
                    Floyd-marquez

None of the top guys are fighting elites. Hopkins has fought foun smaller guys in a row. With 2 of 4 climbing TWO divisions.

mayweather has fought: Delahoya, hatton, marquez, Baldomir
Pacquiao has fought : Delahoya, hatton, marquez, diaz

Shane fought vargas, vargas, collazo, cotto, margarito.

In my opinion, Miguel cotto has fought the most consistently high level of opp. And that is because he can't generate a PPV. Same with Shane. If those guys fight a no-name, literally nobody watches.

Cotto-Gomez was the lowest-rated PPV in HBO WCB history.
