I guess beating Miranda and a bunch of no name Germans impresses everyone...

Dawson was unproven before he beat Adamek...so what? But did most of you said he has no chance to beat him?

Only valid point I see are the physical parameters which also have me seeing to give the edge to Jermain, but still I can't see him schooling Abraham but winning a hard fought decision...

          * Pavlik can't punch at supermiddle. As he's never fought at the weight, this surprises me.

          * Abraham has never fought at supermiddle. As he HAS fought at the weight, this surprises me.
Can Abraham win? According to your sig, F.uck nose!

His best wins are crude fighter mirandra...

kessler has at least fought genuwine super middle weight froch has beaten taylor and pascal who are by far better than anyone arthor has fought at middle weight let alone super middle weight...

Taylor imo has the best cv, hs been in the mix with more world class fighters than all of them..with froch, pavlik, hopkins, winky wright lacey...

I just dont see how arthur is even considered....

I predict taylor schools him barring a dodgy decision...
he should beat JT, but he ain't winning the tourney....it'll be ward or dirrell.

i've already analyzed my point in other threads, but i'll brief you as to why i picked Abraham.

I feel Taylor is going to try and fight smarter which means he'll be more cautious. Abraham is a better defensive fighter than both Pavlik and Froch, and Taylor will have a tough time breaking through his guard. Even if Taylor decides to let his hands go early, i can't see him putting Abraham down for good. Plus, Abraham will be at a better weight. 160 was draining him. He'll have more power than Pavlik and Froch, and a granite chin to go with that. Once Taylor gets caught this fight will be over because Abraham is a real finisher. Even if it goes to the late rounds, Taylor will get knocked out yet again. Abraham will be the third man to put him away.

And even Miranda wasn't even that big anymore b/c the way he lost to Pavlik...to build some legacy the American way he needs to beat Taylor and luck that Direll fights Froch to a draw. So he can still hope to beat some unbeaten fighters next...

He did beat Gevor who's a top ranked middleweight, but the middleweight division has been lacking in recent years.

Like I've said, you can't fault Abraham for his resume; he tried to fight the best.
