A little off topic but It’s like the SEC vs Ripple (******). SEC is asking for $2 billion dollars. They’re not going to get that, they won’t even get $1 billion. They are asking for a ridiculous amount in a court case that they’re not even winning. But the judge can bring that down from $2b to still a good 9 digit number for them.

Canelo knows he’s not getting $150-200m. It’s an exaggerated number to still get a high guarantee. It’s unrealistic. A PPV between them doing let’s say 1.5m buys at $90 per buy, would only be $135m. So with Canelo’s $150-200m asking price, for everyone (promoters, undercard fighters, network) to get paid their proper cut, and him to get at least $150m, the PPV would have to sell like 4 million buys at $90 each.

you guys are so damn sure nelo was avoiding him, so going in the ring would add more pressure to canelo and hyped from fans to make the damn fight. Going there has more pros for the benavidez and for boxing in general than not doing so.
