    Fritz Zdunek leaves boxing

    Just read that Fritz Zdunek is leaving boxing.

    For those who dont know who he is, he's VItaliys coach. He trained a lot of fighters.

    Really? That's a pretty big blow to German boxing, he's trains quite a few of the top guys over there. He's like the German Manny Steward.

      He'll just stick to writing conditioning plans for the K-Bros. and strategy for Vitali...Vitali might hire an assistant coach, similar to what Duran did with Arcel and Brown...

        Fritz is one of the true gentlemen in the sport...................Consummate professional trainer, never really got the respect he deserved, many only know him for being with Vitali, but he has helped guide the career of many fighters in Germany...............................Good luck to him in all his endeavors in life

          He's been one of boxing's best trainers.

          I saw he was in Denis Boytsov's corner on Saturday, so this news comes as a bit of a surprise.

          Good luck to him in the future.

            i think he will be retire with vitali together cause thats his masterpiece!
            Once vitali quits fritz will be out for sure!
