I'll tell you why he did it. Because has seen that the US media and a certain fan base will not care what he did to win. The ultimate goal was to beat Haney by any means necessary. He knows he won't have to face any harsh interviews from an ESPN reporter or a Dazn analyst. He knew that he can make a mockery of the sport by not training and abusing his body with illegal substances and still come in over weight and juiced up and there would be no repercussions. No sir, those repercussions are saved for fighters that look like Haney, oh sorry I'm playing the victim again. My bad let me finish reading the article where Ryan is actually playing the victim, oops I mean pleading his case! SMH

Lol, like your favorite politician. Fake it until you make it. Or in his case, cheat until you make it. Surround yourself with equally crooked characters goes a long way. If I consider myself a truly honest person in life, I would not hang in the company of obvious crooked people. It's not hard to figure out.Comment

But in other news...it's been 13 days since the fight. Eric Gomez said it only takes 10 days to Tally up the PPV #s. That means we're 3 days past due. WHERE ARE THE FUQING PPV NUMBERS FOR THE DAZN FIGHT ERIC???????Comment

My man the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Ryan is on Golden Boy Promotions whose owner Oscar was known for cheating on his wife, not being a great father to his kids, abusing alcohol and other illicit drugs, not taking his sport seriously, in and out of rehab and a host of other nefarious behavior. Ryan has been following the same path ever since he signed to GBP. Coincidence...I think not!!Comment

Garcia , unlike Conor Benn did, would be wise to do a 'strict liability' sort of examination and explain what he ate , drank and took prior to these 'failed' tests. If he doesn't he will be little different to how the majority of boxers and the public alike view Conor Benn for not submitting what should be obvious evidence to try and clear his name. IF he doesn't he won't hear the last of it.....(and neither should he!).Comment

What're you insinuating? No amount of deflection or water muddling can change the fact that Ryan Garcia is caught cheating and his name is now on list of cheaters in boxing. The fight should declared No Contest and Ryan Garcia banned for a couple of years.Comment

What the **** is the deal with the media framing of this? Everyone who has ever been caught except Jarrell Miller the second time has protested their innocence. Why are the headlines "Garcia swears innocence" and not "Garcia fails drug test"?. Not even Canelo got this treatmentComment
