He was great champ, not sure why the article appears to try and diss him. Great champion and fought the best leave it at that. He beat up Glen Catley, that was his finest hour ever

A great champion I saw him fight live in Cape Town in his peak a really good fighter. This article is so disrespectful in more ways than one. You did us South Africans proud Dingaan RIP Champ.

A very odd article, man dies and this article seems to be doing everything in its power to discredit the man rather than attempt to honour him.

Impressive win over Lopez. Tony the Tiger Lopez was a badass. Dingaan Thobelas best win.

I agree especially after the Brian Mitchell amv Lopez first fight controversy.

He signed my boxing gloves at a boxing event where he was doing commentary in my hometown of Uitenhage, here in S.Africa.

Very pleasant and friendly, he wore colourful purple pants and top. That was back in the 1990's if I recall correctly.

Other top S.A. fighters like Vuyani Nene and Welcome 'Hawk' Ncita were there.

Great memories. Dingaan was arguably the most naturally gifted boxer South African boxer ever. The way he beat G.Catley to win the WBC super middleweight title was fantastic.

God bless his soul and comfort his loved ones.
