How to convince my friend to try boxing

Good day everybody, I think that we all agree that boxing is one of the best if not the best sport today and I just cant see the reasons why people will not like it.

I have these friends of mine who are quite bum types and Im always trying to convince to them do boxing with me or to just even try it once. Cause I told them that once you hit a heavy bag or especially the mitts you will get addicted to it.

The problem is theyre just too lazy. Im not trying to force them or anything but I just want them to give it a try cause I know that they will like it too

So here it is, do you have any video/pictures/books/music/anything that I can show to my friends to convince them to give boxing a try?

    Thanks!

I always get pumped up by HBO's 24/7 or HBO's legendary nights, these just wanna make me start boxing. I wish you good luck with convincing your friends!

Well if they are lazy types, you are fighting an uphill battle. Boxing, just learning the craft is hard work..Not to mention the endless grueling hours of training and conditioning.. Not to mention actually getting hit...

But generally every fighter relates to or looks up to one particular professional fighter the most, even if they won't admit it to anyone but themselves, and that one they look up to is an inspiration to them, even.

So what I would do is ask them if they have a favorite fighter, and show them footage of that fighter. If they are indifferent about fighters, then you look at how much they weigh, and ask them to do a fighting stance and maybe a few of their favorite moves (is their favorite punch a hook, or a lead right, or the jab.. What kind of combinations?). Depending on the answers to those questions, you can pick a fighter that they will most relate to, and show them his work..
