Roger Gonzalez timed him up perfectly, 1 punch, his legs were wobbled and took a knee.

i've yet to see Gamboa on the floor to be honest...

technically he has been able to get up INSTANLY quick.

his nickname (El Ciclon *the cyclone*) fits him perfectly, once he's hurt he comes back twice as dangerous just like a hurricane.

Gamboa has only been knocked down twice, against Gonzalez and also Jimenez, that's it, the others weren't knock downs.

        take another look!

Every fighter Gamboa fought, he whooped there ass. They were afraid to throw punches at him, because he would counter their ass and whoop them a new *******.
when is he gonna fight a good boxer? don't get me wrong...he's a great athlete but he's gonna get KTFO as soon as he fights someone like juanma. he better improves his defense or bye bye

Gamboa whooped good fighters, bums? How are they bums if they have good records? Jimenez is not a ****ing bum, he has an impressive KO win over Mike Anchondo. So its gamboas fault that he is just that more talented then his opponents who have good records?

Luis12, have you seen Gamboa's last 2 fights? I don't think so bro...

His defence has improved a lot, he's a diferent fighter now, only the cyclone is still there when needed.

Gamboa has fought better oposition than Juanma, admit it!

Nah, neither have fought world class guys and have both been fighting fringe contenders. Juanmas resume is better purely because De Leon is on it.

As far as i been concerned he has only been knocked down once or twice!!!! that was against Darling Jimenez the same fight he was fighting with an injured hand but still the hand has nothing to do with being knocked down. let's see the knock downs so far against Dejesus it was a push dejesus got under him and pushed him and he fell it was a horrible call by the ref it wasnt even a punch, it reminds me of the push that cotto did on clottey was that ruled a kd i hope not lol against marcos ramirez it was a clean elbow to the face not even a punch so how is that considered a legitimate kd, and against roger gonzalez he lost balance and put his glove on the ground which could be a kd but it wasnt like he was actually hurt. My question is how has he been kd like 5-6 times like most people say you could maybe say 1 or maybe 2 at the most but what are people talking about?
I kinda stop reading when i read the bold part.

                      Knockdown
                      From Boxrec Boxing Encyclopaedia

A knockdown occurs when a boxer, after being hit by his opponent:
*touches the ring floor with some part of his body other than the feet
*has any part of his body outside the ropes
*is hanging on the ropes helplessly or
*is judged to be in a semi-conscious state and unable to continue fighting.
