Ryan's on a high right now trying to indicate the guy he just beat would beat the guy that beat him. I don't see that at all. Haney's chin has been exposed more than ever now. Any fighter with power is going to take it to Haney. I think Tank would run through Haney and actually get the stoppage. Something Ryan didn't do.

Now if Ryan vs Tank at a higher weight? That would be interesting. It would give Ryan more confidence going into it and I think he would have a better shot to win, but doesn't mean he necessarily would still. He himself has been dropped more than a couple times, so we can't say he has a great chin either.

It’s plausible that Haney beats Tank, but Tank beats Garcia in a rematch most likely. Styles make fights. Tank is a slow starter, Haney could just make the fight boring and peck away at him.

Tank will NEVER fight Haney. Waste of time even predicting that fight when we can't get him to fight an OLD Loma.

styles make fights and and a no rehydration clause fight defenitley would favor the bigger man. Haney by UD. The height 5'9" Haney vs 5'5" Tank/Abdul, reach and pace would surely favor Devin.

Tank knocks the stuffing out of Haney, Haney's heart, and determination has kept him from being knocked out a couple of times now.
That said all of his heart, and determination wouldn't be enough to withstand Tanks vaunted power, he would definitely get stretched out on the canvas.
What's more Tank would enjoy inflicting as much pain on Haney as he could possibly dish out, and it would be his biggest scalp to date.

All the kings horses, and all the kings men, won't be able to put the stuffing back in Haney again! He'll be devastated, destroyed, and done!

That said, I don't think it's about IQ, it's about size and the ability to fight from the outside. IMO, Devin would have a great chance at stinking one out because he's so much bigger. On the other hand, if Tank caught him inside during a huge session it's lights out but still, It would be a competitive fight.
I disagree ring IQ isn't in play. I thought it was a much more interesting fight when I had a higher opinion of Devin's IQ pre-Ryan & him not having answers for the left hook. Tank took away Ryan's left hook. Devin couldn't. Thats big to me talking about ring IQ.

I'm not saying size isn't in play or that it wouldn't be competitive tbf, size often plays a role & hell Devin was competitive despite getting dropped 3x by Ryan imo, but I don't think size is THAT big of a determining factor.

The fighting on the outside thing could play a part, but Devin is usually the faster guy in the ring & can do guys like he did Regis. I don't think he was the faster guy vs Ryan & I don't think he'd be faster vs Tank either. Altho Tank is probably less dynamic with his speed than Ryan.

And again I'm not making Tank beating Devin my lock pick of the year or anything. I'm just saying I'd favor Tank to win & I'd be surprised if that wasn't the consensus among reasonable fans (no Tank or Devin fanboy opinions) if the fight did get made.

Stop "hating" Ryan, at the end of the day these greenhorns that have no clue today are glorifying you after the Haney fight, when in reality you quit like a dog and took a knee and never even tried to get up and fight like a man, so best to STFU until YOU can get in and beat Tank, and that ain't happening in this lifetime fat boy!

That's the difference between Tank & Devin, which surprised me, because I really thought Devin knew what to do. The other thing is power! Ryan came at Tank hot & fast, and Tank made him pay, because he can punch! He made Ryan have to respect him EARLY! On the other hand Ryan did not have to respect Devin, so Devin got ran over! I think Tank would do the same!
