Hunger is the key, but it's the hunger to win, not the hunger to eat. They both have to lose about 30 to 40 pounds of excess fat.

I wonder if there will be a prop/line for the fight for combined weight, like over/under 600lbs, or 575. All kidding aside, the reason Miller took a beating the last fight was he took the fight on 5-6 weeks notice. Both he and DuBois, plus a lot of fighters on the undercard had short notice, but big $ offered to them. Obviously, Miller isn't staying too much in the gym between fights whilst DuBois does. DuBois is always in shape. Fighters who take their craft seriously should be in the gym 5-6 days a week if you're making it a career. Ruiz is coming off a divorce, rotator cuff surgery and 2 years of inactivity. This isn't a light touch for a 2 year comeback fight, especially since Miller will now have time to train. Miller's out on bail for his FL heist; he'll have to train hard to not gas out the 2nd half of the fight like he did against DuBois and take a beating. Both should hire nutritionists and do a lot of running, including hills.Last edited by jasontreks; 04-25-2024, 05:34 AM.
