Comments Thread For: Arnold Barboza: 'Hopefully Tough Win Over McComb Leads To Big Fights'

Arnold Barboza is the first to admit that his performance on Saturday night wasn't what he was hoping for. The 32-year Southern California native labored to a split decision victory over Sean McComb, 18-1, in the co-feature bout underneath the Devin Haney-Ryan Garcia DAZN pay-per-view main event. The final scores were 97-93, 96-94 and 92-98 in favor of McComb.

This was an awful robbery, possibly a shutout for McComb if anything the only fight this should lead to is a rematch.

That was a robbery. I was generous giving him 3 rounds in that fight.

He has to rematch that dude.

That "tough win" was a clear loss. Maybe since he looked like easy pickings, a top guy might choose him for a keep busy fight.
