Linares vs Salgado Aftermath: Result Stuns Both

The most shocking result that took place over the weekend was Juan Carlos Salgado's destruction of WBC super featherweight champion Jorge Linares (27-1, 18KOs) at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. Moments into the first round, Salgado (22-0, 16KOs) dropped him with perfect left hook. Linares' handlers have put him in with one bum after another the past few years. Once he gets a decent opponent and loses, everybody is shocked. Linares is very talented, but his crappy opposition up to this point hasn't prepared him well
