    Kazuta Ioka-Fernando Martinez Unification 7/7

How stoked are you for this fight? Ioka was the best Japanese fighter until Inoue came along, but he still got the goods.

What are your thoughts in Ioka?

Damn good fight, I think the timing could be right for Martinez to score the upset.

It's wild how quickly Yamanaka was forgotten about after getting KO'd by a cheat

That said, I love Ioka. Hoping for a great fight.

Inoue’s gonna take one back for the boys in two weeks.

Yep it’s a good opportunity for Martinez and the timing looks just right.

Ioka better train his ass off and stay on point. Mann I just love watching this guy box. I forgot which fight but one time he threw a lead right, leaping uppercut straight out of a video game.

          Ioka is bad bad dude.

Yeah, I was watching some of Nery vs Hovhannisyan last night, and holy hell Nery's defense is awful. And when he attempts the shoulder roll he's literally guessing lol.

True. I was actually thinking about Yamanaka during the opening post but since he was slightly before Ioka’s time, I went with Ioka.

You reminded me of Toshiaki Nishioka too. Both were kind of late bloomers but certainly made their marks.

Ioka isn’t quite what he was IMO. He still has the class but the output isn’t the same. I think Martinez might out work him.

Was it against Tanaka maybe? That was an incredible performance.

The Tanaka performance was phenomenal. A great showing in the Franco rematch as well.
