Apparently Shakur Stevenson wants to fight Ryan Garcia.

Obviously Stevenson and Haney are fighters with different set of skills, but considering they normally hold a substantial size advantage over their opponents and lack of power, would Stevenson fair better if he were to fight an opponent with the hanspeed and power who is closer to his size range if not bigger?

Not sure after his display against the smaller but explosive Edwin De Los Santos.

    Shakur beats both.

Both garcia and haney have serious holes in their game

I agree they do and Shakur is a even better boxer than Haney is who in turn is more skilled than Ryan, but Shakur Stevenson is not someone in particular that can exploit Ryan's weaknesses unless he can hurt him.

He might catch Ryan by surprise often, but if he were to get caught by an explosive fighter like Edwin De Los Santos, he be wilting throughout the fight while his opponent (Ryan) would be recovering during a 1 minute per break after a round unless he lands something meaningful.

Haney's body work rate didn't work because he fought a similiar sized opponent and his lack of power. Not sure what gameplan Shakur can employ for 12 rounds.

Stevenson couldnt beat Garcia. Standing toe to toe would get him knocked out....and running all night would see him lose on the score cards...particularly after the uproar over his last fight. The real difference you are talking about with Haney and Stevenson are there defensive styles. Haney holds...Stevenson runs. In terms of skill and power they are fairly even.

In the tweet he wants the fight but won't go to welter to a CW, so he wants the big money fight against the draw while he has next to no fanbase but also wants things on his terms?

              Not how this works.

Ryan has many more lucrative options. Shakur won't be next.

Shakur would fight Ryan like he did Santos. Screw that fight. At least Haney tried to make it a fight.

Shakur hits like a 6 year old. He'd be running for his life against Ryan. The power difference would be comical and he doesn't have a speed advantage. It would suck because Shakur would just avoid any type of action
