Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor (October 20, 1955 – October 9, 2016) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1976 to 1990. He was a two-time light welterweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 1980 to 1983, and the IBF title from 1984 to 1985. Additionally, he held the Ring magazine title from 1980 to 1983, and the lineal title from 1983 to 1986. Pryor with a record of (39-1, 35 KOs) had wins over Antonio Cervantes, Saoul Mamby, and Alexis Arguello X2, both by the way of TKO/KO.

Aaron Pryor would be a small JR WW today, and at 5’6”, he would be very short. Lomachenko was short too, but he has amazing boxing skills and good handspeed.

I think the style that would give Haney trouble are those with good handspeed, like Loma and Linares.

He was always at a height disadvantage during his time though, the guy however has unusually long arms, like Vaquero Navarrete. He also has quite good skills and handspeed.

Another similarity between Pryor and Navarrete is that they throw a lot of punches per round.

The fighters that give Haney trouble are still those with great handspeed.
