Comments Thread For: Many to Blame for Ryan Garcia Coming in Overweight - Mainly the Fighter
Collapse

I could deal with his antics if he came in at 140. But honestly, I do not even know why this fight is still going on. If Garcia wins, they will say he missed weight. If Haney wins, they will say Garcia did not train. I would just put Barboza in there and make it for the title.charliepaerker likes this.

u can blame the fighter but the fighter will just blame the pressure of social media
so they u have to go further, social media gets the blame but who created social media, are they to blame for this, the fans are on the other end of the social media so are they actually the ones to blame for this mental stuff we see, afterall ryan is simply attempting to live up to the expectations of his social media or what he thinks those expectations are, maybe he should just put the phone down, simpleCPNUTKnockoutFreshMart likes this.

And this is the first time he didn't make weight.Last edited by jqSide; 04-19-2024, 06:35 PM.

"Ryan Garcia has revealed he no longer plans to retire in August. The 25-year-old American boxing star made a shock announcement in an interview with talkSPORT.com in 2020, as he said he intended to retire from the sport at the young age of 26"
he might change his mind again if things dont go so well lol

I wouldn't be surprised either, tank has great feet and great defence, Haney has very good defence but I don't think he has feet like Floyd or tank, I bet on Ryan I think he is the most underrated fight out there, I don't think this is a going to be a easy fight at all for Haney , people are like women who thinks 3 lbs is alot of weight he still looks fit and strong , in gyms nobody really cares about weight this is all for show stuff , when sparring nobody cares they just care about glove size

It wouldnt surprise me all that much. He couldn't vs Tank but I think Tank is another level to these. It's a shame he doesn't fight the opposition to prove but Tank would whoop Haney and i wouldn't be shocked if Garcia does.
