I would have liked to see him stick around at 168 for a bit longer, but if he can’t get any of the other contenders in the ring, might as well go up and test the waters there. The extra 7 pounds could be a big positive for him also, cause he’s a big guy.

Dayan Depestre is another guy ive been keeping an eye on, I’ve heard he may be on a Probox card in the near future, hoping someone signs him

I assume hes on Canelo card so he'll be on shortlist first Sept or May 2025 (think Berlanga just got mando'd so he might be Sept opp). Hes been #1 for one of Canelo's belts for awhile.

He's a well schooled boxer not as explosive as Iglesias or Morrell Jr, a few years older than them too, still in his prime more on the Lara's style.
