    How good was the prince?

just wondering how good you guys think prince naseem hamed was, and also what you think of his level of opposition minus Barrera,
i personally think he was a very good boxer and seemed too have good recovery skills when getting knocked down, imo he retired way too early and we missed out on at least another 3 years of him.

Hamed was a beats. Unified his division, beat everybody by KO. We only missed out on EM and JMM fights. I think both woulda beaten him.

Naz was the best I've seen, his skill inside the ring was awesome. I like the way how he just lean back to duck his opponent punches. He was very ****y but he always deliver inside the ring...beside Barerra LOL.

Naseem was a beast. Truly one of a kind. He had ridiculous power and reflexes and thats why he never really had to work on his defense. When his tricks didn't work against Barrera I dont think he had any backup plans. I've read many times that Marquez was his number one challenger but they declined to fight him for 2 years. Who knows though. IMO Marquez would have outboxed him.

Really entertaining fighter. Had a lot of power, even for such a small guy.

Everything was based off his reflexes and never really learned how to defend properly. That was probably his biggest fault, IMO.

The prince was an overrated fighter. He could have never hung with Barrera, Morales, or JMM. The only reason he fought Barrera was because he had to fight one of them and he thought Barrera would be the easiest.

Did he have decent power, Yes.... was he really that skilled or quick.... NO. Did he avoid good fighters like the Plague.... most certainly.
