Entertaining fight, Villa winning but not dominating, taking more punishment than I imagine he'd like to

In a interesting note, 90% of Cristian Cruz's losses were during his debut against upcoming fighters, like Ryan Garcia.

He then went to go in a large winning streak, losing to a Jose Olmeda Robles (16-1) after beating someone of a similiar record to Robles (Jesus Acosta who was 15-1), he then went to a 6 win streak with a draw.

Cruz also has never been knocked out.

Villa looks beatable. He let Cruz get too scrappy.

Cards as follows: 98-92 X2 and 97-93, UD for Villa, seems fair. Cruz was solid and can come again, I'd really like to see how he'd fare against a gatekeeper like Eduardo Baez or Santisima.

I'm down to see Villa against any of the champs at 126, Figueroa or Robeisy, all interesting matchups imo. TR could probably put him in with Joet as well, but I feel like he wins that one comfortably. WBC final eliminator against Robeisy would be really cool, but TR holds a lot of cards at this weight and could easily just put him in a rematch with Venado if they want to. Lots of options, just want to see him active and in a high level fight, people forget how much he pushed Vaquero in their fight

Tamez putting that perfect record in the line. Bold.
