    Linares= Glass Jaw?

    Ok i watched the fight the day it happened and thought it was just a beautiful left hook but i was watching it today and got it paused right when Salgado hit him....it hits his guard!!!

    I have not seen a slowed down version or a good angle on the punch but i meen getting knocked down and being hurt from a punch that hit your guard?

    By the way im not trying to hate. I like Linares and i think he has a lot of skill but i just wanted to see if anyone else has input.

    Glass temple...

    But that's what you get when you fight in Asia. Someone like Linares fighting in Asia means the guy won't get any real fights, or challenges, and I don't think they would put some great Asian fighters against him anyways. They were probably scared of Linares and instead of giving him the good local talent, they probably fed him some lambs.

          Temple shot man.

          Anybody can go down from anybody.

          Example:Ottke-Mundine.

              Did Larios touch him up? I didn't get to see that fight. I think I only caught the highlights on Youtube. Either way, I think these types of fights are due to, too much soft opposition. The moment you get too comfortable in the ring to the point where you're mentally too relaxed, that's when you're in for trouble.

              When you're too relaxed, and not mentally bracing your head for physical contact from the first bell...I think that's hands down, the worst time to be hit. You'll be put to sleep quick fast.

                There should be a slow motion replay on the video. But it sneaks past his hand and lands square on the temple. But one thing the replay didn't show is if Linares hit the back of his head on the canvas. When a fighter smacks the softest part of his skull on the ground lol, I think that's just as, if not more devastating than the initial punch they got caught with.

                  Yeah i can agree with the hitting the back of the head thing.
                  Thats what KOed RJJ when he fought Johnson. Despite what the haters say.

                    Yeah I remember that. I mean if the first punch ****s you up, that second impact of hitting the canvas won't help lol...
