    Crybabies...

    Mayweather =
    former lineal Welterweight Champion.

    Props to:fitzgeraldz

First 1.5 yrs as a pro, won a world title - without a title eliminator or interim title ... and in his first 17 or 18 fights

10 consecutive years as a world champion

5-WBC titles in as many weight classes

6-time world champion, in his first 10 yrs as pro

all championships he won were off of reigning champions - no vacant titles - he was a challenger in a fight 6 times and has a 6-0 2KO

    15 current/former world champions faced

    20-title fights (20-0 record)

    3 linear titles

all this happened during a streak of 39 straight victories and within the first 10 yrs of his professional career.

No one in the history of boxing has accomplished that without havinng taken a loss or more

He's only 1 championship away from tying the record held by Sugar Ray Robinson and thats winning 7 world champions ...

He's currently tied with Sugar Ray Leonard with legitimized championship in 5 different weight classes.

I'm not saying you have to like the man but he's one of the best of all-time ...

It also has been confirmed that (not including linear titles) Pacquiao has won titles in only 4 weight classes (with as many alphabet titles) and Oscar didn't have many legitimized titles ...

Let me see,,where on Mayweathers great list of accomplishments does it contain a win vs a great or even very good, solid natural welterweight, who was peak, or at his natural weight.

You need to learn exactlkyl why Mayweather can have 100 wins and will never be considered up there with a Leonard etc. That is because it is qualilty over quantity.

Since winning the WW Tittle in 2006, PBF has not fight a true WW, but all of the sudden after beating a lifetime featherweight, now he is the top WW?!?!?! What a ****ing joke!!! How people keep defending PBF's career since he beated JUDAH is amazing. Floyd is definitely NOT THE BEST WelterWeight out there.

I agree that SSM should be over Cotto, but Maragrito at number 3 is a hell of a joke too. Cotto is not receiving the credit he deserves. You may argue on who got a better record as a WW between Cotto and SSM. SSM is the man to beat in the division right now. Too bad, PBF is scare to fight him.

Berto is sitting there at number 5, which is probably the place he deserves to be, specially when Clottey lost to Cotto. The rest of the top 10 is arguable. Quintana is number 15, mainly due to his inactivity. Cintron and PW are considered a LMW, 3rd and 1st, respectively. Gomez at 11th and Judah at 12th is another bad joke.

I wonder what would happen if Paul Williams decides to have another fight at 147lbs. How will he change the rankings? PW may face anybody and MUST be place at number 1 if you keep track of what they did with MayWeather. In PW case, there is no boxer at WW or LWW willing to fight him. Not even SSM, Cotto, and obviously PBF.

IF Juan Manuel Lopez decides to fight at 140 againts another former 122lbs fighter and wins. He will be the #1 Jr Welter according to Boxrec.
