Gamboa looked great, and Lopez looked horrible and was a few seconds away froma KO loss before the bell.

        Downloading Lopez now...

Don't normally watch his (and Gamboa's) hyped/hand picked fights but I heard this one is FOTY.

            Gamboa looked great.

            Lopez fight was the FOTY.

Lopez was presented with a guy that he couldn't hurt and got lured into a brawl. They fought the fight Mtagwa wanted. Lopez was boxing beautifully early on, but than he got tagged a few times and just started getting wild.

Fight was a war...Lopez was more than capable of winning comfortably if he fought smart, but he fought like a moron and came very, very, close to getting stopped.

                Gamboa was great as usual.

Lopez looked horrible against a guy with 12 losses who has been outboxed by Billy The Kid Did, and has been KO'ed by two "lesser" punchers.

The story was more that the fight was FOTY candidate and Lopez def showed more heart than Cintron/Cotto vs Margarito. He was almost out of there.

Gamboa is a great finisher, if he ever catches JuanMa like Mtagwa had him, Lopez would have been mirked.

Lopez didn't quit and he showed he has heart. It's time for him to move up in weight because i think his stamina is horrible now due to trouble making 122. Hopefully his power carries up to 126.

Lopez and Mtagwa had a FOTY canidate. Lopez boxed for the first four or five rounds, scoring a KD in the fifth. Mtagwa came on strong in the second half of the fight and rocked Lopez badly in the 11th. Lopez's legs didn't recover in time for the 12th and he was stumbling and clinching all round, but he survived and won a clear and unanamous decision. Gamboa's hand speed was too much for Garica and he crushed him with a straight right in the fourth. Garcia landed on his face and just laid there. He got up, but Gamboa ended matters quickly.
