I don't subscribe to the "log jam" argument because fighters primarily care about getting paid well, not titles. You don't need a title to make a good match-up. Canelo not fighting Benavidez is being used as a smoke-screen by the trolls to obscure the real problem; these contenders (and their respective teams) don't want to fight each other because they don't have much value. They want unreasonable money to take risks. They're all waiting to be cherry-picked by Canelo, the guy with the biggest and brightest spotlight. He could drop all of the titles tomorrow, and that fact wouldn't change.
