Yes he still seems very green despite 22 fights. Definitely needs more time to develop. He has the foundation but need alot more work. For perspective David at the same age was stopping the likes of Dirrell and already a 2 time champion.

Different fighters, don't like how people dismiss fighters after certain performances. Not everyone improves at the same rate. There are champions that haven't been fighting top fighters until they were 27 years old like Errol Spence despite the amateur pedigree.

Benavidez got the belt at 20 years old against Gavril after struggling to cut weight due to an illness (also losing his uncle, the mom's brother) and beat a prime experienced Anthony Dirrell at 22. That's not an easy thing at all.
