Same score I had, close but clear decision for Juanma. Thanks for the analysis. Hopefully he learns and improves from this fight.

        1st round

Right hook that Mtagwa touched the canvas with the glove.

        Knockdown
        From Boxrec Boxing Encyclopaedia

A knockdown occurs when a boxer, after being hit by his opponent:
*touches the ring floor with some part of his body other than the feet
*has any part of his body outside the ropes
*is hanging on the ropes helplessly or
*is judged to be in a semi-conscious state and unable to continue fighting.

        10-9 for Juanma

        2nd round

        10-9 Juanma (20-18)

        3rd round

Matgwa landed a punch after the belt.
        They went at it.
        10-9 Juanma (30-27)

        4th round

Mtagwa landed some good punches but Juanma landed the clearer punches. The corner tell Juanma to jab more.
        10-9 Juanma (40-36)

        5th round

at the beggining of this round Juanma landed almost 50% of his punches from round 1-4 while Mtagwa landed 28%.
Juanma scored a knocked down, Mtagwa has only been down 3 times in his career.
        10-8 for Juanma (50-44)

        6th round

Lopez outlanded Mtagwa. Lopez boxed more than he had done in the fight. Mtagwa looked a lot better than the previous 5 rounds
        10-9 for Juanma. (60-53)

        7th round

Mtagwa landed some clean punches that Juanma's head looked like a bubble head. Lopez missed a lot of punches in this round. First round in the fight that Mtagwa clearly won.
        10-9 for Mtagwa. (69-63)

        8th round

Mtagwa got hit clean at the 1:50 mark. Mtagwa and Lopez looked tired. They were slugging it out.
at the 0:25 Mtagwa was stunned a little bit. Mtagwa landed a right hook after the bell that landed cleanly.
        10-9 for Juanma (79-72)
Raul Marquez has the fight 77-74

        9th round

Both fighers look tired. the round look pretty even. In the last 10 second of the round Juanma about 5 clean punches and Mtagwa landed one after the bell.
This round could of gone either way.
        I scored it 10-9 for Mtagwa (88-82)

        10th round

Juanma came to kill in the first 30 seconds. Juanma is getting hit clean now. His hands are down. Juanma hit Mtagwa with a good combination half way thru the round. Mtagwa hit him in the back of the head when Juanma went thru the ropes and try to hi him again. Juanma outlanded him but Mtagwa looked like he hit Juanma with the hardest punches.
Matgwa hit Juanma with straight right hand and stepped on Juanma's foot. The refferee was on the way so you could not see if Juanma landed a punch when Mtagwa went down. But if you watch the replay from another angle you see Juanma landed a straight left hand that send Mtagwa down.
        10-9 for Juanma (98-91)

        11th round

Juanma won the first 2 minutes of the round. At the 1:00 mark Mtagwa looked buzz a lil bit but i guess it is because he style after he get hit. Juanma looked hurt at the end of the round.
        10-9 for Mtagwa (107-101)

        12th round

Juanma looked hurt and the round hasn't even started yet. Juanma tried holding a slipped at the 2:17. Juanma is trying to survived. He is hurt.
        Juanma held at 1:52, 1:30, 1:14, 0:47, 0:34, and 0:10 mark.
at the 0:20 second mark Juanma almost went down. He came forward throwing some punches and look like the energizer bunny walking. Juanma survived the 12th.
        10-8 for Mtagwa. (115-111)

You could scored the 12th round 10-9 for Mtagwa and this is why
*Juanma came hurt from the previous round. Mtagwa landed a lot of good punches but it was not a destruction.
*Mtagwa did not score a knockdown.

I'm pretty sure the judges score the 12th round 10-9 round.
Where can i see this fight? what network was it on? ive been so busy lately i forgot about this fight..

Also the kind of fight in which you: get permanent damage ala Mrgarito - Cotto (he was not the same after that fight)... I hope he's ok but we will need to wait until the next solid opponent to make a better judgment. Little bird tells me that won't be anytime soon :S

Did you guys also know that Mtagwa tested positive for ephedrine against Aldo Valtierra

Ephedrine (EPH) is a sympathomimetic amine commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypotension associated with anaesthesia. Ephedrine is similar in structure to the (semi-) synthetic derivatives amphetamine and methamphetamine. Chemically, it is an alkaloid derived from various plants in the genus Ephedra (family Ephedraceae). It is most usually marketed in the hydrochloride and sulfate forms.

The ECA stack is a popular supplement taken by body builders before workouts due to the increased amount of energy and alertness.
