Thats today. In 50 years the guitars value will have dropped dramatically as noone alive will actually have experienced Jimi Hendrix as he stands in culture today Guitar driven music is almost non existent already. Much like boxing will fade as physicality is taken over by technology. We are the last of the cavemen.

Historically significant guitars have been rising in value for years... with no end in sight.
Same for most vintage guitars, no matter the ownership history. There will always be rich people
with plenty of money to splurge.. and they especially like vintage instruments and rare vehicles.
And guitarists like John Mayer, Trey Anastasio, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John
Petrucci etc still draw big crowds either in their respective bands or their solo bands. They may
not pack 'em in like Taylor Swift... but they regularly fill theaters worldwide. Guitar music is and
always will be near the top... no matter how much plastic pop crapola gets released.
