Did Taylor hurt Froch and the Hoax

I think Jermain Taylor can whack with the best them of them. Dude hurt Kelly the Hoax and Froch worse than anyone and was even able to get Hopkins to respect his right hand. Yet he goes the distance with smaller, inferior opponents and barely puts a dent in them. He kinda reminds me of Kendall Holt in that regard.

But I want to know from you guys, were those flash knockdowns or were those two seriously hurt?

They were hurt, not jelly legs and staggering but they definitely did not like those punches one bit.

Taylor isn't exactl the most murderous puncher, but he puts a lot of things together well into a good package; he has ok power and strength, good accuracy and timing, nice speed, and decent pop (especially that jab).

On their own they're just characteristics that some fighters may well have, but he puts them together well and as we're discussing, has used them well.

Just look at Froch's and Pavlik's expressions when they're down, they do look genuinely hurt, not embarrased or shocked that they got taken down.

JT can punch and is a tougher dude than most give him credit for. His stamina is crap and is possibly the worst finisher in Boxing because of it, he is afraid of gassing out.

They were hurt alright. Pavlik in particular. But they wasn't finished which is Taylor's problem in a nutshell.

F*** the BS, Taylor has power and strong, not just "ok" power and strength. They were hurt but he didn't finish them, he's never had a killer instinct if you ask me.

I'm seeing that what it bowels down too...he might hurt Abraham....remember prior to Taylor, Froch had never been hurt or down.

They were hurt. JT's not the biggest finisher and when he tries too hard he gasses himself.

Pavlik's legs were pretty bad in that 2nd round...that's what he gets for sticking his chin out mocking Jermain
