  • Comments Thread For: Seniesa Estrada Strives for Greatness, Recognition for Her Division and the Success of Women's Boxing

Two-belt minimumweight titleholder Seniesa Estrada will finally get the fight she has longed for when she confronts Yokasta Valle in Glendale, Arizona, on March 29. "It's relief and excitement," Estrada told Boxing Scene of the undisputed title fight with Valle, her Costa Rican rival and fellow two-belt titleholder. "It has been years in the making. But as we were saying, even though it has been years in the making trying to make this fight, there is no better time to do it than now because women's boxing has been the best that it has been - ever. I'm happy we were able to get this exposure on this platform."

Estrada didn't look all that good in her last fight but when she's on she's the most skilled female boxer today. Valle is tough she'll press Estrada should be a good one.

This ought to be a pretty good fight. Both ladies are good action fighters. It's too bad about the two minute rounds though. Three /Twelve is way overdue.

Should be a great fight all the way through with plenty of punches thrown. Rooting for Yoka and feel she should win with her edge in mental toughness and ring activity. But...she's going to have to really separate herself from Seniesa down the stretch or she will surely get jobbed by the judges. Also at play, pressure is on Seniesa to keep that "0" and Coach G is now Yoka's trainer. Yoka! Yoka! Yoka!
