Frankly it’s irresponsible that DAZN, Oscar, Matchroom and everyone else is still desperately trying to keep the Haney-Ryan fight alive when it’s obvious Ryan is in no mental shape to be getting in the ring. It’s like how Elvis Presley’s manager knew Elvis was a drug-addled wreck but ordered Elvis’ hangers-on to do whatever was needed to be done to get Elvis out of bed and conscious long enough to perform that evening’s show. Pretty disgraceful.

Does an athletic commission perform a psychological evaluation prior to a boxing contest? If not, then what legal leg would the network/promoter have to stand on if Garcia decides to sue them?
