If he had been out on bail, they didn't plan on promoting any of his fights. When Verdejo was convicted, his contract was terminated.

Do we know how much longer Garcia has on his contract? If he decides to renew, then both parties deserve each other.

No clue. It feels like everyone is more secretive than ever with contract length in general these days til we get down to the final fight. That said I feel like I've heard Oscar say they have Ryan "for years" although thats vauge enough that it could mean til sometime in early 2025 or 2027. I believe Oscar has also said the deal got extended due to the Tank fight being made. That could just he a standard extension as many contracts I've seen auto extend for fighting belt holders (maybe a technicality here since Tank wasba belt holder while Ryan didn't actually fight for a belt).
