Showtime Shawn would seem the obvious fighter commentator team pick since he has PBC connections.

I saw Raul doing some other platforms show recently so assume he's not coming over from Showtime. As a Al fan since damn near day 1 of being a boxing fan I'm kinda hoping he gets brought over, but if I'm being honest I feel like hes been showing his age for awhile & maybe its time for him to chill & sing on the weekends more.

I like Ranallo and Custer. Maybe Mauro is an acquired taste. At first blush he seems fake/put-on, but once you realize that dude's personality is genuine you grow to like him. At least that was the case for me. I'd love to have Al Bernstein back too. Hopefully, they're making that happen. As for the color analyst, I like Abner Mares, but I'd rather have Roy Jones or Shawn Porter or somebody else (Paulie is great, but he's doing the Probox thing...of course Algieri works for Probox AND DAZN...I like Chris too, so....). Barry Tompkins, Raul Marquez, and Steve Farhood are great too. And I like Jim Lampley and Max Kellerman, but their commentary started getting on my nerves toward the end of HBO's run. I can't figure out why exactly. I'll be looking forward to seeing how it plays out. Kudos to Amazon for picking up Ranallo and Custer so far.

Would personally like to see Roy Jones and Max Kellerman. Paulie's unrealistic I think. PBC currently has Stephen Espinoza working as a consultant (and probably something more once they get the ball rolling) and Espinoza was the one who fired Paulie. Paulie and Espinoza don't get along and have even exchanged words on social media. Al Bernstein or Andre Ward could also work. I like Shawn Porter as a person but think he does too much as an analyst... tries too hard IMO.

No Paulie as long as the weasel is around
The reason why he was thrown off Showtime

Jim Lampley. Bring back Jim Lampley. It is *crazy that he's been sidelined all these years.

Paulie is an excellent analyst. His insight was some of the best. He was thrown off due to woke DEI (didn’t earn it) hires over at Showtime. His remarks during an interview when asked about Haney’s (white man will never beat me comment) got him canned. His response is one of the weakest I’ve ever heard concerning race. I’ve firmly believed those hyper focused on race, using it as a cudgel to proselytize are projecting.

He got done in that’s for sure
The weasel won’t bring him into the fold
I liked him also although sometimes could make a mountain out of nothing

I like Custer but was hoping we had seen the last of Ranallo. He is terrible. Always has been.
