JuanMa vs Matwaga= Cotto vs Clottey

both took place in madison square garden. Both fights had action but juanmas fight was defently better. Both fights had some dirty tactics. Both were close descion the kds won them the fight. i personally had it 115-114 cotto and i had 115-114 juanma clearly outboxed him in the beging at the end i gave the rounds the rounds to matwaga.

Except Cotto won the championship rounds and came on at the end, while Juanma was holding on for dear life.

I understand what you're saying, but I think Clottey is a higher quality opponent and Cotto had that massive cut.

Those last 4 rounds were electrifying. Clottey could have done the same thing, but the mofo got too comfortable and lazy. I think the 116-111 is insane though, that means one judge made the 12th 10-9 instead of 10-8.

Is not about Matwagaga. Juanma skills are way better than this guy but he dissapointed me man. He never adjusted and keep fighting the same way even when he could not hurt the guy. He should haved box more insted of brawling.

I agree I expected Juanma to box a bit more also. Once he started getting hit, he started throwing wild punches at Mtagwa and missing like crazy which is what Mtagwa wanted him to do.

i feel the same way, juanma did not fight smart, did not go to the body early nor often, was brawling too much.
IMO he was lucky to have survived the 12th round.
