  • Double standard when it comes to Dillian Whyte and Conor Benn's positive test situations?

Couldn't be less of a fan of either of these two guys but it seems weird to me that Dillian Whyte, who's failed 3 drug tests now in boxing (4 in total across combat sports), isn't really criticized in the media or met with any pushback from the BBBoC.

He hasn't had a British License for 5 years, he fights in Ireland tonight with seemingly no problem, he said on SecondsOut yesterday that he can fight in the UK whenever he wants vs whoever he wants. He hasn't had any kind of hearing with UKAD/BBBoC and they don't seem to care. Almost all of the comments on the SecondsOut video were positive, glad to see him back, etc. No boxers or promoters seem to have any pushback on him either.

Then on the other hand you have Conor Benn, he failed his drug test(s) coming up to 2 years ago now, he has had a hearing with UKAD/BBBoC, he won that hearing and had his suspension lifted, to which UKAD/BBBoC appealed it dragging out the process even more, have stated if anyone does fight Benn in the UK they will be met with disciplinary action despite the fact Benn isn't suspended after he won his hearing. He's totally destroyed in the media especially talk sport and by other boxers like Froch, Spencer Oliver, etc etc despite actually having a hearing in the UK and winning it unlike Dillian Whyte who none of the above have mentioned.

    What's the thoughts?
