The US is a rogue state. Doesn't recognise the ICC and they actually passed a bill that would allow them to forcibly remove anyone detained in the Hague (designed primarily to protect war criminal George W. Bush).

The US is also the only state to be convicted of terrorism ("unlawful use of violence") by the World Court (ICJ) for what they did in Nicaragua.
