They have to match William Zepeda, with the top ten fighters in the division, nothing will else will do.
I mean that was a pitiful fight against Maxie Hughes, the guy just didn't stand a chance against him.

Zepeda is a monster.. Hughes just beat Kambosos if you actually watch boxing.. this was an title eliminator for both the IBF & WBA.. which sets up Zepeda perfectly, now which body will call the mandatory first is the real question.

IDK what to make of Zepeda, I do think he can make some noise and regardless of what fans think of him, or if he can beat the guys mentioned is really not important because I do think those guys are not really interested in fighting him. And before someone says, " Stevenson already offered him a fight and Zepeda refused", stop with that nonsense. Arum offered Zepeda 250k, which is not a serious offer considering Zepeda is already making more than that per fight. And it was just a ploy to pretend they were interested because it was just one offer and never attempted to get serious about things when Zepeda called their bluff. It's what Bobby and TR do, they do it all the time...

This fight had mismatch written all over it from the beginning. I was actually more interested in the Schofield fight. Zepeda did what he had to do but Hughes didn't offer much in return. Zepeda looks like the real deal but it's still early. Let's see how his career progresses.

The real issue is did Zepeda's team make a counter offer and were rebuffed? Or did they just say no? Big difference!

If you don't have enough pop to keep Zepeda off of you , you'd better have the footwork and stamina to move for three minutes of every round. Every fight that Zepeda is in will be an exciting action fight.
