  • Why Did Canelo Choose the Weakest Mexican Contender Available in Munguia Instead of Fighting David Benavidez?

Meanwhile we have the real greats stepping up. Did Canelo broke his spine in the Bivol fight?

    Bivol vs Beterbiev
    Usyk vs Fury

Then we have Canelo fighting 160lbers, 154lbers and the weakest mexican contender available in 168 in Jaime Munguia. He's not doing a good job of representing the sport of boxing and mexico right now.

    Munguia is an easier fight

At this point he only wants to get paid, it's fine that be want showcase fights with contenders of his choosing.

What's not fine is him holding the belts hostage putting the super middleweight division at a halt and making absurd statements that he doesn't plan to follow through.

Because he's been ducking challenges since he was given his second gift against Golovkin.
