Damn, that's a bit harsh.

So, you think Penalosa (56-4), Sergio Medina (31-1), Ponce De Leon (34-1), were all tomato cans?

Every one of those guys were very good champions and fighters. Still fighting either at, or very close to, the top of their game.

He struggled with a guy that was meant to be easy but wasn't and if you knew anything you should have at least known he was tough and a real fighter. I still thought it was going to be a domination by Lopez but I can see why it wasn't and he still definitely won the fight.

He also showed a true champions heart. He's still going to be a great champion and this has probably helped him a lot. He fought someone that wasn't straight up and was very unorthodox and could take a serious punch. He also left his game plan. Something which he will now know not to do as he was whipping Mtagwa apart from when he got into a brawl.

If he wasn't so inexperienced no one would say "He's ****!!! Pwned. Lamo", they would be saying "Wow, great boxing performance" but he is inexperienced in a real struggle which he got and it's just another learning curve on his way to great things.

I mean, he could very well get knocked out next fight. We don't really know. But he showed a hell of a lot of grit and determination tonight and put on a good fight.
