De La Hoya already called out Shakur for Zepeda. He better not duck. Zepeda don't duck feather fisted runners. If Oscar didn't want to make the fight, it wasn't Zepeda choice.

I understand that but he could had spoken up a bit instead of staying quiet.

Oscar De La Hoya is turning out to be the Mexican version of Eddie Hearn, another promoter who has a propensity to build up fighters beyond their skill level's.
William Zepeda is William Zepeda, there is no need to make comparisons with any of the greats. I believe he can achieve pretty well if he has enough dedication.

He has an interesting style as a high output southpaw with solid well rounded boxing skills.

Interesting fact, his first trainer was a Cuban (like Lindolfo Delgado's) called Carlos Duarte, both William and his trainer Carlos collaborate/joined with Jacob Najar's gym now. reason why he wasn't switched as an Orthodox stance since the beginning.

left to right, Carlos Duarte, William Zepeda, Jacob Najar and William's father Luis Manuel Zepeda.

Oscar sends his boxers to the Lion's den.

                Zurdo to Bivol
                Ryan to Tank and Haney
                Mungia to Canelo

Zepeda is next. Let's see who takes the fight. The ball is in Shakur's court.

He actually does. Hopefully he gets a meaningful fight and we shall see if he is really for real.
