I didn't see the fight, but if he did look as bad as it sounds against someone like Priolo, then maybe Izzy should reconsider things. One of my fave fighters, would hate to see him get hurt. I'm willing to give him one more fight to see how he looks without all the rust.

i think thats the general idea...one more fight with marquez before he hangs em up...

personally, i would mind seeing vasquez retire...dude has taken more punishment than 99% of those who have ever strapped on gloves...

but if he fights, im watching it...he didnt wow me or anything tonight, but it was still an enjoyable fight...

Rafael Marquez boxes more. Just like when Barrera fought Morales. Morales was more of the two slugger and that's why he got knocked out later on.

Izzy is done. He is ruined, finished, finito. That wasn't ring rust that caused him to get popped all night by a blown up flyweight who had been knocked out in something like his last 6 fights. Izzy had to go life and death with this guy to get the win. He was clearly getting hit more than he was connecting. I think anyone close to elite level may really hurt this guy. Marquez would decimate him in a fourth fight. I like the guy, but he needs to hang up the gloves and call it a day.
