He's right there too. He went back on his word. No canelo then Morrell Jr. Not this time, let me beat up another 36+ yo, they're easy prey.Comment

benavidez has beaten 2 top 5 opponents at 168. saunders beat 0 top 10 opponents at 168. how is that the same level? how is that fair? lying to yourself doesnt make you look credible at all.Last edited by daggum; 03-15-2024, 12:31 PM.Comment

You downplay Canelo unifying 3 belts at 168, 4 at 168, and challenging 2 champs at 175 plus other reigning champs during that span, but you expect people to be impressed by Benavidez fighting one of the guys he stopped (who David refused to fight when he was undefeated holding a title)haha. Being a distant second to Canelo in the division isn't the flex you make it out to be when he ducked all the fights to be in Canelo's shoes and maintained his status just by keeping his 0 padded. The more you break down their respective career moves the more it shows that at 168 there's the top dog Canelo and there's everybody else. And that's the pathetic about Benavidez, if he had taken the fights on the table for him and won he could have been in the driver's seat both at 168 and 175, but instead he ducked out on smoke in both divisions and continues just to beg for a payday on the side and refuses to fight anyone with upside.
you are trying to explain away 5 years of ducking and its just not going to work. benavidez has a much better resume than those guys so you cant make it about resumes. thats been disproven. also canelo himself said benavidez has to fight the top guys and guess what happened? #1 benavidez beat #2 plant and still canelo refused to fight him. hes full of sh-it! a fraud! when did canelo tell munguia or charlo that they have to beat the top guys to get the fight? oh yeah he didnt and oh yeah they certainly didnt beat any top guys. you are defending a ducking coward. patheticComment

everyne that canelo has fought at 168 had worse resumes than benavidez so what you are saying doesnt hold any water. he's done more than every single person he has fought there. canelo also said benavidez has to fight the top guys and then ill fight him. guess what happened? #1 benavidez beat #2 plant. STILL DIDNT FIGHT HIM! this is the definition of ducking. when you have different standards for one guy then everyone else. did he ask charlo or mungia to do that? course not. did they do that? course not. no matter what benavidez does it will never be enough and like i said hes already done far more than any single fighter cnaelo has fought at 168 so your argument is in the bin.
