Canelo has gone full Floyd cherry picker mode. His career is essentially over. He will artificially extend it for many years being an opportunist but he's done. Would be best if the boxing world simply removed him from the convo since he won't fight the best but because he makes money people will pretend like these are legit fights yuck

C'mon Shoulder Roll. I'm talking about THE REAL RANKINGS, not paid-off alphabet rankings. Munguia is ranked #5 by TBRB and The Ring. But, I think the most accurate is the TYH ranking where Munguia comes in at #6 (#1 Benavidez, #2 Morrell, #3 Mbilli, #4 Plant, #5 Shishkin).

My assessment of Munguia is, why did he get rid of Erik Morales? Just wondering. I think for this fight, he should take Erik and Memo with him and go high up into the Otomi mountains like Erik used to. He needs to be more explosive for this one. Keep Freddie, but get pointers from Erik too. I think his legs are kinda heavy and he needs some more spring in his legs, to be able to get in and out of range, like how Bivol did. Why trade Canelo punch for punch? He's taller and has longer reach. Use all his advantages and work on his jab. I'm not saying box and move all night. But fight on his own terms when he wants to, and use boxing and his legs to frustrate Canelo when Canelo wants to ****.

Simply put he's just an undefeated fighter with a knockout punch, who has been matched, and promoted very carefully!
