No one watches Free TV anymore. Wtf is she even talking about?!?!? Its 2024 not 1984.

Ppl aint been fighting when she was promoting. We went from 4 Kings to 4 belt holders per division. Thats belt group bs.

And fans & pundits have been hyping undefeated records since Marciano. Of course no one wants to lose. Its lowers your income. If promoters, platforms & fans didn't rip apart mfers that lose, unlike in any other sport I've heard of, maybe boxers wouldnt be as opposed to risk.

I mean we already know this it's been this way for a long time now. If you're not with a promotional outfit then you're not gonna get built up and get fights and get paid unless you're already and established name like a Canelo or a Crawford even Haney now who's doing it where you can just go where the money is without being tied down to a long term contract with a promoter. So she's not saying anything really ground breaking not being with a promotion why on the come up is gonna have you fighting in the small halls or you're gonna be the away fighter.

Why does the headline say "Hall of Fame Promoter" when everyone knows, and the article clearly states, she's a manager? Come on BScene - you need to know the difference. She didn't make it to the HOF for promoting.

obviously she was referring to not-so-long-ago when a basic cable package would get you free fights on the ESPN2 Tuesday Night Fights, ESPN2 Friday Night Fights, BoxeoTelemundo, fights on Telefutura, occasional FS1 cards, etc, without having to separately purchase ESPN+, DAZN, internet streams. or every other fight being on PPV......

She says theres less boxing now. She is out of the loop. There is more boxing on now than there has ever been on since I've been alive. They show full cards on ESPN+ & DAZN all the time. I have a pet peeve with PBC cuz they don't show full cards lol.

I kinda doubt even when boxing was on during the 3 channel era that there was more boxing on than now. Granted it was more widely seen, but with how things have moved boxing was always gonna get smaller. Plenty of blame for that.
