I don't go in for hype. AJ has always been an excellent fighter : even when he lost - he performed. People need to stop overreacting to wins and loses.

I think similar for Fury - he's overhyped but still a very good fighter. However he doesn't fight anyone good - so how can he keep his skills sharp? For example when was the last time Fury fought an actual decent boxer? (as opposed to brawler) - you have to go back to Wallin and he struggled with him.

Worth remembering AJ got to see Ngannou do 10 rounds with Fury. It was clear when Francis switched to southpaw that AJ was ready for it - first knockdown straight away. So that would have helped.

I still see AJ Vs Fury as 50/50 (always have done). I think that will be a great fight - possibly a trilogy. Unfortunately I see Fury retiring before it happens.

Fury also looked horrid in my opinion against Whyte and Chisora, but at least those were wins.

I expect Usyk to win on points. So, for argument sake let's say that happens and there is a Fury loss. Does Joshua make more sense, or the Usyk rematch for the cash box? I do not know, but I feel there will be this swell of public opinion for Joshua when honestly he has not really challenged himself. Not belittling his wins or his turn around. I am happy for him. I just am not sure he has done a ton besides look good against decent or below opponents.
A better fight for the fans would be against Wilder.

Great ko, and Eddie is understandably happy. But he's going over the top to say that Fury vs Joshua would be the biggest fight in boxing history.

What? There have been greater fighters in superfights in history.

well just understand he is a promoter and it'll start making sense to you why he says some of the idiotic things he says

Anthony Joshua answered so many questions during his convincing Friday night triumph…” — can someone please, and I mean this sincerely, tell me what those questions were?

Let’s be honest here, AJ had to take Ngannu more seriously than Fury did based on the fight Fury had with Ngannu. Was it a big surprise to anybody who considers themselves a serious boxing fan that AJ KO’d him?

as for fury joshua will absolutely destroy him because Joshua loves fighting the bigger taller guys and fury gets hit in every fight……against joshua he makes that fatal mistake by getting caught and when joshua catches him Joshua ends him.
Usyk will end this joshua fury talk because he beats fury
Well, personally, I don't see usyk beating fury despite the fact that I am not a fury guy. The only time I supported fury was against wilder. The bigger skillful guy will always beat the smaller skillful guy.
AJ find it difficult to catch usyk because, he is faster and constantly changing position before AJ could calculate his moves, then back to reset. Besides that, usyk is never afraid to let his hands go which hindered AJ's advance plans.

The AJ that shows up last night will mess Wilder's mental health up.

The Ngannou fight vs Fury was just supposed to be a cross over fight with no title on the line. Fury beat the guy despite not training or barely training at all. He was aggressive and got caught, but he WON. That should have been it. Fury, whose best win was against an old Wlad who barely threw a punch in their fight, for some reason was regarded as the best even though he won the titles from Wilder, who in turn, his best win was against a 40+ year old Ortiz who was winning their fight till he got KOd.

So it is no surprise that AJ, who is pretty much always in the gym and hits harder than Fury, knocked out a guy who sat in front of him with his left hand down. I hope this is the end of the MMA vs Boxing clown show for good.

Having said all of this...Usyk beats AJ again and he will beat Fury.

The problem is Fury would have to get through Usyk first- twice. And, after beating the first top name since beating Wlad, want more tough fights.

Based on Fury’s record that seems as likely as Elvis being alive at this point.

Fury went life and death with Ngannou and Wallin and Joshua just crushed them both. Fury has every reason to be afraid and he has a good record of dodging big fights against lesser opposition so it doesn’t seem likely we’ll ever see Fury vs Joshua.

I’ll still be positively surprised if Fury doesn’t cancel the Usyk fight again.
