Dunno if he was hurt by that more than it stopped the forward march for maybe the only time in the fight. Harder to say than when Vargas was hurt because he threw up distress signals all over the place and complained all night like a jilted bride.

Next fight should be interesting. I don't think Zhang is quite as good as some people are making out and Parker isn't Joyce who is going to defend with his face. Styles make fights.

But the flip side, I'm not really sure where Joseph Parker is these days because I don't know how much you can read into the Wilder fight when he shot to bits. Parker's other results recent years is wins over a few nobodies, knocked by Joyce and arguably went 1-1 with a faded Chisora.


If Parker fights smart and gives Zhang some movement, he has a good chance but he also needs to stick it on Zhang if Zhang starts feeling the pace. Parker can be too placid and he can't be in this one when it's time to pick his shots.
