In which i will attempt to sift through the endless amounts of crap and come up with the best contenders to look out for in the near future.
1. David Tua
The Tuaman looks to be back and he has a pretty complete package. With a good crew around him and plenty of fire in the belly Tua could be a force to be reckoned with over the next year or two! Probably the hardest puncher in the division, Tua combines his power with head movement and a chin of Pure Granite.
2. Tomasz Adamek
A former Cruiserweight, like David Haye. Unlike Haye however Adamek has a good chin. Coupled with his solid skills and a good punch Adamek has a good chance of acheiving things in the coming years. His only downside is his small stature in a division of giants. Adamek must use his lack of size to his advantage, using speed and evasion to frustrate larger opponents.
3. Alexander Povetkin
Surely soon someone will give Povetkin his shot! he has earned it with good victories over solid opposition. His amateur Pedigree cannot be questioned, with an Olympic Gold to his name. Povetkin certainly has the skills to give anybody a tough night.
4. Denis Boytsov
At only 23 Boystov is one of the youngest Contenders out there. In great shape, and with real KO power Boystov has demonstrated a well rounded package and could go far. He needs to fight a top 15 opponent, but i have little doubt he would do well at that higher level.
